HOW SOMA WORKS

At soma we encourage people to build a simple rhythm into their week. A cycle of heat, cold and rest that helps the body recover and the mind reset.A typical session:

10–15 minutes in the sauna

1–3 minutes in the cold

A few minutes to rest and breathe

Then repeat the cycle 2–3 times.

Some people drop in for a quick 20-minute reset. Others stay for an hour to fully unwind. Take your time between rounds.

No phones. No headphones.

Just a chance to slow down. Make it part of your week.

Many members come two to four times per week once it becomes part of their routine. That’s when people tend to feel the biggest benefits — better sleep, faster recovery and a calmer mind. Not a one-off treat. Something you come back to.

THE SPACE

soma is designed to be a calm, welcoming place where you can slow down, reset and take a moment for yourself. Inside you’ll find a space designed for heat, cold and slowing down.

A large communal sauna

Three cold plunge tubs

Showers and changing rooms

Lockers and towels provided

Calm background music

Everything is designed to make it easy to drop in, switch off and enjoy the space at your own pace. And one important rule. Phones stay in the secure lockers. This is your moment.

THE CRAFT

soma is being built in partnership with Bibbi Bespoke, a specialist sauna builder based in East London. Jack and Gustav have worked closely with soma to collaboratively design a sauna with community at its heart. It is made from thermo-treated ash, centred around a powerful 36kw IKI heater that delivers deep, even heat.

Alongside the sauna sit three handcrafted cold plunges made from wood with stainless steel liners. Each plunge is individually chilled and capable of reaching temperatures as low as 2°C. Built to deliver deep heat, crisp cold and the perfect reset.
